Martina was found as a stray at just 10 months old during a blizzard in Indiana, where she had become caught in a barbed-wire fence in a remote area.

Today, Martina is an Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD) therapy dog and also serves with HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response. Her therapy work has included visits to hospitals, assisted living facilities, hospice patients, schools, special-needs adults, and children’s reading programs.

Martina has also been featured by local news outlets and magazines for her extensive therapy work.
